Physical Development

organized sports and creative movement.

Emotional Development
1. Self esteem – verbal reinforcement, acknowledgement of feelings and moods,
use of films, appropriate books, and self-expression.
2. Independence – encouragement of self-motivated and individual activities.
Social Development
1. Behavioral skills – discussion of limits and expectations.
2. Interactive skills – group cooperation with games, dance, songs and on field
trips. Helping staff and other children.
Intellectual Development
1. Language – encourage conversations, story telling and reading.
2. Cognitive – science and nature activities, cooking, math, board games, blocks,
and trips.
3. Creativity – expression of ideas, art and story telling.
